Tim's 26th Annual SAG Award Picks

Award Season is in full swing and tonight's stop is at the SAG Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles!

Tonight's winners should give us a good look at who will potentially take home the acting Oscars in a few weeks. There are a lot of categories that seem pretty well set after some of the awards we've already seen throughout this season, but there's also going to be some surprises this year. Some of these categories could be decided by a coin flip they're so stacked. Here are my picks below. Who do you think will win?

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role

Joaquin Phoenix (“Joker”)

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role

RenĂ©e Zellweger (“Judy”)

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role

Brad Pitt (“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”)

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role

Laura Dern (“Marriage Story”)

If there's an upset here, my money would be on Jennifer Lopez taking the win for Hustlers.

Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture

“Parasite” (Neon)

Possibly the toughest category of the night to pick. I could also see this going to Jojo Rabbit as well, but I think the voters are going to sway more towards the love everybody has had for "Parasite"

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries

Jared Harris (“Chernobyl”)

Another tough category but I think the Emmy winner repeats here

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries

Michelle Williams (“Fosse/Verdon”)

Michelle Williams and Patrica Arquette are clearly the front runners here, but I think Michelle Williams continues her winning tonight.

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series

Sterling K. Brown (“This Is Us”)

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series

Olivia Colman (“The Crown”)

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series

Andrew Scott (“Fleabag”)

Another tough category, but I think the love for "Fleabag" carries through here as a lot of people have been cheering for Andrew Scott all year. I think this is his win.

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series

Phoebe Waller-Bridge (“Fleabag”)

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series

“The Crown” (Netflix)

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series

“Fleabag” (Amazon)

I feel bad picking against every one of these shows, but this is the year of "Fleabag" and I expect them to take this home.

Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series

“Game of Thrones”

Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture

“Avengers: Endgame”
