Guillermo del Toro's "At Home with Monsters" opens at LACMA

Guillermo del Toro is not only an amazing and inventive filmmaker, but also an avid collector of horror and paranormal memorabilia.

Guillermo del Toro normally displays his incredible collection at his home base known as "Bleak House" in the suburbs of Los Angeles, but now he's bringing his collection to the world with the new LACMA exhibit, "Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters".

The LACMA exhibit also showcases his creative process using his collection of paintings, drawings, maquettes, artifacts and concept film art. According to the LACMA website, the exhibit is also arranged thematically, starting with visions of death and the afterlife, continuing with explorations of magic, occultism, horror, and monsters; finishing with the representation of innocence and redemption.

We really can't wait to check out this exhibit when On the Mic stops in Los Angeles in September.
